The Rush captures the exhilaration of movement in its purest form - a bold expression of energy, instinct, and release. Two sweeping gestures in deep black slice across raw cotton canvas, embodying both power and precision. There’s a sense of acceleration - of momentum gathering and spilling forward - yet it remains balanced by quiet restraint and intention.
Part of Rebecca Anne Maclean’s debut collection, Flow State: Chapter One, this work reflects the artist’s fascination with emotional movement and the rhythm that exists between chaos and calm. Subtle details emerge as the light shifts, revealing texture and depth beneath the surface.

Our custom hand-cut frames are crafted from sustainably-sourced Tasmanian Oak or American Ash. Each frame is made to order and includes an offset or float style which complements the artwork perfectly. Choose from stunning Tasmanian Blackwood, Black American Ash or Wenge American Ash. All framed prints are framed using high-grade acrylic.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Gallery-Grade Materials are used for all items. Please use white soft clean gloves where possible, or clean dry hands when handling artwork to avoid marking the surface. Only use a soft, clean and dry cloth to gently dust the surface and avoid using water or solvents on any items.
Prints are created by a professional Giclee method, with inks lasting 100+ years with proper care. Ensure your works are not hung in direct sunlight where possible.
